Perhaps it was the day of fasting on Yom Kippur … perhaps it was the many hours spent registering new voters and calling voters during the past few months … perhaps its sheer enthusiasm since Senator Obama spent the day in Philadelphia the other day, and the willingness of so many people to find their way to campaign headquarters in town, including a son, for hours and hours of data entry work …
But an Oy-bama Hat has found its way onto my needles, the latest in my series of Encouraging Hope Hats. Here’s the chart, in case you’re fingers itch to tikkunknit as much as mine.

Wow, thanks so much for doing this! I’ll be linking to this project…
Hey friend I love your blog, but I wonder why you like Obama so much? He wants the Muslim countries to take over Jerusalem, and Kick the Jews out.
Wonder if we can have an update from you about what you think of Obama now? Reason I ask. No one is screaming how wonderful he is and all the bumper stickers have magically disappeared. It appears now no one voted for him. All is quiet………………… Thanks.
My vote will continue for President Obama. There is nothing about the others that is appealing, for Israel or for women, etc.
Michelle Obama’s cousin is chief rabbi in Chicago, in case people here don’t know that.
Thank you for the update about Michelle Obama’s cousin. Romney/Ryan would be horrible for this country. I’m for Israel being that I am Jewish. And I have bumper stickers on my van constantly about women’s rights, and what Romney/Ryan would do if they win the presidency. We have got to get people to the polls to vote!
Israel will die with obama’s help.
I will vote for him again. At least he has not turned on Israel like Carter did. Obama’s main problem is trying to please too many people and not being tough enough with those who disagree. Who can disagree with sharing? It blows my mind the people who will vote for Romney because he is the rich people’s candidate. So they think by voting for him, they’ll get rich. Not gonna happen! Bill Clinton always said if you want to live like a Republican, vote Democratic. I think Obama was treated to too much racism and as a Jew, I need to counter that.
P.S. I still have my 2008 Obama bumper stickers on my car- a Prius of course- next to the new ones.
